Korendon are a highly skilled main contractor specializing in fit-out , refurbishment and new build. We work for major brands across the commercial, residential, healthcare, retail, and public sectors.

Delivering a highly integrated service personalised to our client’s needs, our team bring together a wealth of experience and expertise which has been instrumental in the growth of the business. This collaborative approach has enabled us to complete projects on time and to budget ranging from the most straightforward to the highly complex.

Managing Director, Turul Aymen of Korendon North has extensive civil, structural and fit-out experience, having held a number of previous senior management positions both overseas and in the UK. He holds a BSc in Civil Engineering and he is an IEng MICE (member of the Institution of Civil Engineers).

Director Southern Region, Robert Holmes, working in construction since 1990. Initially Robert was engaged as project manager with Korendon, he started his career as an interior architect and won 13 national & international awards for design work in high end residential schemes, he has listed buildings experience and progressed to Director at Korendon in 2018.

Construction Manager, Paul Hazelgrave, has over 38 years’ experience in the construction industry, with a senior management role for over 18 years working for international, national, major regional construction companies, and smaller family owned and run construction companies.

Project Manager, Gino Kent Korendon North, performs a pivotal role in
the planning and successful execution of our projects, ensuring all work is carried out to the specified standard and is completed on time and to budget. As a reassuring presence whether on site or in the office, he coordinates the team and keeps our clients fully informed during the refurbishment process. Gino supports our clients with their requirements throughout the life-cycle of the project as well as post contract after-care.

Our Directors and management team are at the forefront of the business with over 25 years of local and international contracting and consulting experience. The management team are continually refining their supervisory expertise and techniques which are an ongoing learning process. We are continually growing our skills at all levels, and incorporating the benefits of these into future projects.

Background

Korendon Construction was established in 2001.

Our experience encompasses private and social residential accommodation, healthcare, high-rise student accommodation, hotels, warehousing, offices and architectural fit out works.

Our Directors have a wealth of overseas experience working on projects in Libya, Tunisia, Romania, Bulgaria and the Czech Republic.

We continue to thrive with our local knowledge and expertise of the past ten years and the international experience from earlier projects, steering our business strongly through tough economic times towards a sustainable and better future for the Korendon team and our clients.

 

Charity

We support NSPCC and Barnardo’s charities.

We believe one small individual effort can make a big difference.

Korendon’s Director Turul Aymen completed London Marathon (2009) and the Great Northern Run ½ Marathon (2010) for the NSPCC.
